Ukrainian man faked his way into American high school

On Friday, a 23-year-old Ukrainian man who posed as a teen to attend a Pennsylvania high school was charged with sexual assault over a relationship with a student. CBS affiliate WHP reported that Harrisburg police said in a statement, Artur Samarin was arrested on charges of statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors. Samarin was already jailed on identity theft and other charges. The new charges stem from a sexual relationship in 2014. The student was 15 at the time and Samarin was 22. Using the alias Asher Potts, Samarin enrolled in Harrisburg High School as a freshman in 2012. He was a member of the National Honor Society and the school’s ROTC and Naval Sea Cadet programs. He was set to graduate in June. (Video source: Inform)
