THOUSANDS of postal staff throughout the UK have taken strike motion within the lead-up to Christmas.
Employees at Royal Mail picketed on Thursday throughout the nation together with postal staff at Shirley and Bitterne Manor in Southampton.
The strikes are a part of a long-running dispute between the Communication Staff Union (CWU) and Royal Mail over pay, jobs, and dealing circumstances.
Picket strains have appeared throughout the county together with Shirley, Bitterne, and Winchester.

Union consultant for the Hythe supply workplace, Barry Adams, 38, mentioned that just one worker went to work out of the 48 employees members.
He mentioned: “The morale as we speak was strong. We’re upset with the CEO’s actions and we’re persevering with to picket.
